PrimeTime Thanksgiving Dinner
PrimeTime Ministries is hosting its annual Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, November 13, at 6:00 pm in Gilmore Hall. Chef’s Coffee Shop will provide the meal. Tickets are $18 per person and may be purchased at the Welcome Center on Sundays or in the church office during the week. The event will include a brief memorial observance for Joanne Dusserre who volunteered with PrimeTime Ministries for many years. Jim and Dori Halbert will be our guests. Kids’ Night Out
Drop off your children for a fun evening of games, crafts, snacks, and movies on Saturday, November 15, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Enjoy time to yourself while your kids are having a blast at PazNaz. All childcare providers are cleared through Livescan fingerprinting and federal and state background checks. Open to children ages birth - 11 years old. Cost is $20 per child or $35 per family. Cheese pizza is available for purchase for an additional cost of $7 per child. Alternately, you may choose to provide your own dinner for your child(ren). Register online at Paz.nz/KNO.

Ladies Night Out
Tickets are on sale now for the annual PazNaz Ladies Night Out on Friday, December 5. Doors open at 5:00 pm for a silent auction and gift basket raffle followed at 6:00 pm by a fantastic dinner and entertainment by illusionist Johnny Ace Palmer. A free children’s Christmas celebration is available with the purchase of an adult ticket and advanced registration. Tickets are $35 per person and may be purchased at the Women’s Ministries table on Sunday or in the church office during the week. Third Annual Oasis Talent Show
Celebrate the season with joy and inspiration at the third Annual Oasis Talent Show – Christmas Edition, hosted by PazNaz’s Special Needs & Disabilities Ministries. Join us on Saturday, December 6, at 7:00 pm in Lee Chapel for an evening filled with musical performances, audience sing-alongs, Christmas carols, scripture readings, and poetry. Women in the Word
Join Women In The Word this Fall as Natalia Kohn Rivera teaches The Song of Solomon. This study meets on Tuesdays through November 11 at 9:15 am in Gilmore Hall. Dinner will be served 5:00-6:15 pm. The cost is $5 per person if reserved by noon on Wednesday, and $7 per person if reserved after noon on Wednesday or at the door. Any first-time guest who does not currently attend PazNaz and makes a reservation by noon on Wednesday can enjoy their dinner for free. Reservations can be made in the Welcome Center on Sunday mornings between Worship and Sunday School or by calling the church office during the week at 626.351.9631.

Lots of Christmas Presence

This class focuses on the symbolism of Advent. We will celebrate, again, the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem, and underscore the significance of the liturgical year. Each week a different Advent candle will be explained. The more we understand the theological significance of the birth in Bethlehem, the richer our faith becomes. When the calendar year and the liturgical year merge, we encounter lots of Christmas presence.
